In addition, annual or semi-annual check-ups with an eye care specialist are recommended in order to avoid any possible irritations or serious diseases the contact lenses might cause to your eyes.
Our terms and conditions are applied to all agreements made on our Chiara Lens website. Upon purchase, the buyer agrees to all terms and conditions formally once the order has been confirmed. Any possible changes to the Terms and Conditions, will only be validated after a written acceptance by Chiara Lens, delivered by email.
While using our Chiara Lens website you agree to provide current, true and accurate information to the best of your knowledge. In addition, you agree to maintain and update all Registration Data so that it continues to remain current, true and accurate. Your account might be suspended or terminated if the information you have provided is considered to be incomplete, inaccurate, not current or untrue. If this is the case, Chiara Lens holds the right to refuse any current and future use of the website.
When placing an order with Chiara Lens you declare that your purchase is for personal use only. Resale of our products on any other websites or online platforms is strictly forbidden.
Chiara Lens can only be used by adults over 18 years old. Anyone under 18 years old needs a parent or legal guardian to review and accept the Chiara Lens agreement upon registration.
Once an order has been placed, the buyer will receive an email confirmation of the order summary. The order is considered binding only after the buyer has accepted the confirmation email and completed the payment.
Free shipping is available for all orders over 60 Euro. Express shipping is also available upon a 9 Euro fee. In the event of an unclaimed item or if the delivery address is inaccurate, the buyer is required to pay a 9-19 Euro fee if the order comes back and we have to resend it. Part of the first shipping fee will be covered by Chiara Lens only on any Order.
Product Availability and Expected Dispatch Times
Dispatchment of our lenses is done within 6 business days from placing the order. Dispatch days are from Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays are excluded. You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number upon shipment of the order. Please allow a couple of days before tracking your package in order for all the data to be uploaded on the postal system.
Expected Delivery Time
Delivery times are estimated and vary depending on your location. Chiara Lens takes no responsibility for any possible delays as a result of insufficient information regarding the delivery address. A refund will be issued to the buyer if we are responsible for the delay.
The average delivery time is 9-16 business days.
Chiara Lens takes no responsibility for delays caused by the postal service. We use only Express shipping Services to send out purchases. The buyer is required to sign personally for the package.
Import Duties, Sales Taxes or Value Added Taxes
Taxes may be charged by some countries once the lenses go through customs. Chiara Lens takes no responsibility if this happens. The buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes required at the customs of their own country.
It is the buyers responsibility to oversee the delivery once the tracking number has been issued. Please review the Shipping & Tracking Section for further information. Once the tracking number of the parcel displays the word “Delivered” than refunds are no longer available.
Our products are prices in Euro on our website and a 22% VAT is included and guaranteed once ordered.
Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron and Maestro cards are all accepted. Internet payment transactions are performed in Safe via PayPal.
PayPal can also be used for purchases. PayPal supports Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club and EnRoute. Your personal payment information will only be held by PayPal. It is not visible to us or any of our third parties.
CLAIMS, RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Chiara Lens allows the return of products only if they are found defective. Replacement of lenses is not possible if you are not happy with the color or parameters you have chosen. Please make sure to consult your Eye Care Specialist before ordering contact lenses online.
In the event of defective lenses, you must return them to us before getting a new pair. Exchange is only possible with the same exact model and color.
If you find your contact lenses to be defective please follow these steps:
- Contact customer service and send us a ticket Via email or through your website account within six days from the day you received your shipment.
- Return everything that came with the shipment to our Chiara Lens Store, including the box, blisters and Lens Case.
- In case you have opened the lens blisters, please put the lenses in a lens case filled with contact lens solution and return all the components to us, including the opened blisters.
- Please do not allow more than 6 days to pass between the first receipt of the shipment and the return of the products to us.
- Please make sure to follow these instructions step by step, otherwise we cannot replace or refund your purchase.
We will examine the lenses for protein deposits to make sure they have not been used. If the lenses are found to have been used, then replacement is not allowed.
Please make sure to inspect the lenses before you put them on. Follow the leaflet instructions included in your order on how to clean your lenses properly before usage.
The customer is responsible for shipping charges regarding the return of defective lenses.
RESPONSIBILITY AND WARRANTIES
Our items are delivered in their original packaging in accordance with the information provided by the buyer. We take no responsibility for inaccuracies in the information provided by the buyer. In addition, it is the buyers responsibility to follow the instructions and maintain the lenses properly according to the tolerability of the items. We do recommend a visit to your eye care specialist twice a year. We also encourage you to follow the instructions accompanying the product.
Any personal information provided by the buyer will be held on a computer database at Chiara Lens. Personal information will only be used to provide a correct order entry, business contacts and after-purchase services. The customer is free to modify or delete any personal information at any time.
RESOLVE A DISPUTE
Chiara Lens is adamant to resolve any complaints by the buyer.
